Over six weeks, we'll meet to begin or refine your Handstand practice. You’ll work towards Handstand in a step-by-step way, with the instruction of a skilled teacher (that’s me!) and surrounded by supportive peers (that’s y’all!).

In addition, you'll get a typed up sequence each week for you to practice with at home. Practicing outside of class is crucial for advancing your practice, but it can be intimidating to figure out what to practice. These customized sequences will help you to practice solo with confidence! 

In this class, we’ll work on:

  •     Handstand basics
  •     Jumping up with two legs
  •     Pressing up
  •     Alignment for a healthy pose

LEAPS+BOUNDS is geared for people with some prior yoga experience and is not well suited for beginners or those with current injuries. But you don’t need to be able to actually do Handstand to sign up for the course. If you can practice Chaturanga, you’re ready for LEAPS+BOUNDS! Please contact me with any questions.
